Are you based in Northern Ireland, want to learn more about community heritage, and build up your volunteering experience? Come and be a Conference Digital Hero!
This year our annual conference is coming to Belfast & Armagh from 27th – 29th September. Each year at the conference, we ask for volunteers to help us gather event content that we can use on the Heritage Network social channels. These volunteers come under our Digital Heroes project, this year we’re seeking volunteers from Northern Ireland.
Why? Having Digital Heroes at conference allows Heritage Network to involve local young people in the conference, giving them free access to a large-scale heritage event that they may not otherwise access. It provides marketing & communications experience, networking, connection, and learning for the volunteers. It also provides capacity, fresh perspective, and creative ideas for content to the Network.
When? We’ll be seeking applications for Digital Heroes until 3rd July, they will be covering the conference 27th – 29th September with some meetings before and after the event.
How? Those wishing to be a Digital Hero at Conference 2026 can apply as normal through our Digital Heroes application form (external link) (opens in new tab), just add ‘Conference 2026’ at the beginning of your answer to the question ‘What interests you about this project?’
